I became interested in which Developmental Biology Journals have the best impact factors (IF). The impact factor is a measure of “popularity” for scientific journals that is based on the average amount of citations the journal makes in the span of two years. I understand the latest IFs available are from 2008.
I had regarded the journal –Development- as the best developmental journal in my mind. I was surprise to learn the following:
